The first post! So, the idea of getting back to blogging has been running around in my twisted brain for a while now... With college and the workload that comes with it, I was pushing the idea further away. Maybe it was the laziness that was stopping me... Well, pretty sure it was. Also the fact that it has been almost years since I even wrote something for people to see (No; my silly rambles on Facebook don't count.) Whatever the reason(s); I thought I will give this a try again. The fact that I spent the past month furiously typing my thesis away has given me enough practice to use the computer/laptop keypad and now, I do not have to beg someone to type things out for me! (I know I should not really be proud of this, but somehow I am...)
So, the second thing that stopped me from this particular activity was the fact that I have absolutely no clue what to write about. See, this is where the technological world differs from the quaint, wistful old-school world. In the privacy of my little blue book, I can write a plethora of... errr stuff. There is a sort of personal connect I share with my book, one that will never perhaps be fully realised with a computer or screen or whatever it is. (Lord! I sound like a cave-woman!)
So after copious amounts of filter coffee, I thought "Well, let me give it a shot. Let me see how things turn out. I can always stop if things turn out to be stupid, silly, bad or boring..." And thus, the blog was born (Doesn't even sound cool!)
Why I chose to blog all of a sudden? Like I said, the idea has been in my head for a while, but I thought I need to have a kind of permanent place to store my ideas. Not that they are great or something, but it always helps to look back one day from now, and cringe at how idiotic you were and revel in the newfound, (however nonexistent) maturity.
And as to what I will write about, the answer is anything; Anything I feel like writing. Anything I find that has interested me, anything that has happened (which even feels remotely "bloggable-" no, it is not a word.) So, it can range from stupid-(p)seudo profound. If you choose to read, consider yourself warned. Also know that the blog will be filled with bad puns... Really bad puns! Read at your own discretion.
Allons-y!
